We retain rock analysis results and images for the purpose of building your personal rock collection catalog. This data is stored securely on your device and is not accessible to us. You can delete this data at any time through the app settings.
We do not sell or share your information with third parties. Your rock images and analysis results remain private and are not transmitted off your device except for immediate processing purposes.
While we strive to provide accurate information, Rock Identifier's analysis feature is not a substitute for professional geological analysis. We do not guarantee the accuracy of rock and mineral identifications, and users should not rely solely on our app for determining the value or authenticity of specimens. We use the OpenAI API to power our rock analysis feature. When you use this feature, your uploaded rock images are processed through OpenAI's services. In-app purchases are processed through RevenueCat. Please refer to RevenueCat's privacy policy for information on how they handle your data.

We reserve the right to limit the number of rock identifications for free users and may change or terminate our services at any time.
